Yarmarka

Yarmarka are a song and dance ensemble who base their performance on a blend of Russian traditional folk music and a modern dance rythm. At the Winter Festival they put on an energetic, colourful show as they reworked most of the best known folk songs. There appears to be no site devoted to the group, and no music files have been found. However, mir has a sound sound clip of the London show. This was recorded on small hand held walkman and is, inevitably, of variable quality, but it does give a taste of the show. If you are really keen to hear the group this can be made available to you.
