Tatu Tatu leapt onto the UK music scene with an astonishingly strong debut single and a fine album. Sadly, they have failed to capitalize on this. The material from the first album was spread thinly across two years with endless repackaging and remixes passing themselves off as 'new' material. Shapavalov lost interest and the band petered out. There is, finally, a new album released, but it may be too late to re-capture the interest of record buyers. It does seem to be having a fair degree of exposure and is a fairly strong set of songs, so time may be kind to the group. Check on the forums, below, for the latest news. |
