Alla Pugacheva & Philip Kirkorov

Pugacheva has been one of the great stars of Russian popular music since the late sixties. She is a larger than life character with a wide range of styles. Although, primarily, she is a singer of middle of the road ballads (like Shirley Bassey or Liza Minelli), she also tackles light rock, jazz and folk. She is now married to Philip Kirkorov, who rose to great popularity in the late eighties. Kirkorov, 18 years her junior, works mainly in the disco/dance vein.
