The Nord Ost

This is the theatre where the terrible siege was held on 24/10/02. The news was unfolding on their website as it happened. The webmaster was in touch with colleagues inside the theatre and put the news straight on the site. The website has now closed, but we have cached some of their pages for the record, and these can be found at the link below.

Nord Ost was a very popular musical based on the soviet realist novel 'Dva Kapitana' (Two Captains) by Veniamin Kaverin. After searching for years we managed to find an English translation and this is now available in our members section at the link below, although it appears to have never been published in the UK.
