Nautilus Pompilius

Nautilus Pompilius were formed in Ekaterinberg and had a great success from the early 80's. They remain popular and their singer and main songwriter Vyaseslav Butusov still performs a solo artist. The music is fine, accessible rock with superb lyrics. The soundtrack to the Sergei Bodrov film 'Brat' (Brother) is from the band. Perhaps their finest moment is 'Ya hochu bit s toboi' (I want to be wih you), but there are many others. Best albums - perhaps 'Titanik' or 'Krilja' (below).
