Ivan Kupala

The group take their name from the feast of 'Ivan Kupala' (John the Baptist) and play traditional folk music given the modern treatment. Very like 'Sacred Spirit' or Enigma in approach, but different enough to be worth a listen. Only one album 'Kostroma', but it also exists in a remix version with remixes by various artists including Alex Cherry, Deadushki and Avaria. Get the remix album for an introduction to these dance acts.
