Brat (Brother) and Brat 2 Two darkly comedic dramas directed by Alexei Balabanov and starring Sergei Bodrov jr as Danila, with Viktor Sukorov as his brother and set in the world of organised crime in Russia and (in the second film) USA. The soundtracks feature many of the most popular contemporary Russian artists and come in three volumes. These are fairly easy to find and are worth downloading as an introduction to Russian rock music. The films can be found on e-mule (below).You should be able to find them on tape or DVD in Russian shops in any big city. |
